Printing

Printing Nitoku pages is no different from printing any other web page, you can print them using the printing functionality of your browser. Nevertheless, we have made a couple of printing design decisions that we believe will provide our users with a better printing experience.

First; when you print a page, the sidebar will not be printed as part of the page, therefore if you close any dialog that may be open, the page that you print will be a clean page. "clean" in the sense that it will not include any interface buttons. You could see an example of how this page is printed here : printing.pdf

Second; Adding a header with one hashtag will add a page-break to the printed document, e.g.:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et
dolore magna aliqua.

# Header

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et
dolore magna aliqua. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor
incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.

With this approach, you can use headers to break the pages that you wish to print.

Please note that the first hashtag on the document will not add a page break, the reason behing this is that the first hashtag placed inside the page is assumed to be page title therefore is understood that a page break is not needed there.
