Journal of Management and Business Education (JMBE) mission is to contribute to management and business education by publishing original research works that address the processes of teaching and learning business management from any approach.

JMBE includes work on topics relating to:

  • Critical perspectives on education and its institutional development in all the business and management disciplines
  • Advances in techniques and practices for teaching
  • Changes in the structure of business and management education and the changing roles of management educators
  • Relationships of business and management programmes to employers needs
  • Development of human capital for business management;
  • Management of teaching institutions

JMBE represents an excellent forum for promoting critical discussion on current innovations within Management and Business Education

Frequency: Four-monthly.
JMBE publishes three issues a year (April, August and, December)

Peer Review Policy🔗

All articles in the journal have undergone rigorous screening, based on double-blind peer review. All manuscripts has been submitted to external evaluators except those expressly requested by the editorial board.

This journal subscribes to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Open Access statement🔗

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Since Volume 2 (2019), articles published in JMBE are under CC BY-NC license.

You are free to: (i) Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; (ii) Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.

Article Processing Charges🔗

JMBE does not have any article processing charges (APCs) nor article submission charges nor publication fee.

Archiving / Preservation🔗

JMBE's publications are preserved at Internet Archive. This journal uses the Internet Archive system to create a file storage system distributed among the participating libraries and allows the creation of permanent archives in the Journal with a view to conservation and restoration.
